Одной из наиболее оригинальных
черт строения иглокожих следует
считать сложную дифференциацию
части целома на ряд систем, в том числе образование за счет целома
амбулакральной (воднососудистой) системы
органов движения.
4. Имеется кровеносная
система; органы дыхания слабо
развиты или отсутствуют; специальных
органов выделения нет.
5. Нервная система
примитивна и частью залегает непосредственно в толще кожного
эпителия или в эпителии участков стенки
тела, впятившихся внутрь.
6. Иглокожие раздельнополы.
Яйца испытывают полное радиальное
дробление. В развитии иглокожих
имеется характерная личинка
диплеврула, испытывающая сложный метаморфоз.
Представители
класса иглокожие (Echinodermata), имеющие промысловое значение
в Сахалинской области.
Промысловые виды имеются
только в 3 классах: голотурии, морские
ежи и морские звезды.
Морские ежи —
Ecbinoidea. У берегов Приморья обитает около десятка
видов морских ежей, но к промысловым относят
пока только самых крупных, так называемых
правильных, или шаровидных, морских ежей.
Для них характерна круглая, шаровидная
форма наружного скелета, покрытого многочисленными
иглами. Внутри панциря находятся основные
внутренние органы, среди которых в пищу
используются 5 половых желез, называемых
«икрой». С нижней стороны панциря
у правильных ежей расположен рот, вооруженный
5 мощными зубами. Они служат для отгрызания
кусочков водорослей и морских трав, которыми
и питаются правильные морские ежи. В прибрежных
водах Приморья живут 3 вида правильных
морских ежей, два из них являются промысловыми.
Ниже приведена характеристика для этих
видов. Третий вид, живущий на больших
глубинах (свыше 20-50 м), где питается в основном
погибшими животными, пока не находит
сбыта и не добывается.
Серый морской еж — Strongylocentrotus intermedius
Agassiz; англ. Short-spined sea urchin; яп. Bafun-uni.

Панцирь полушаровидной формы, слегка приплюснутый
сверху. Зеленовато-сиреневог , коричневато-зеленого
цвета, иногда с более светлыми радиальными
полосами. Игольный покров густой. Иглы
короткие, неоднородно окрашенные. С нижней
стороны расположены 5 белых зубов. Внутри
расположены 5 половых желез, по и т.д……………..
